Il Casale

Il Casale was born to set a modern Italian table inside the historic atmosphere of Fişekhane. The brief, in one line: carry the warmth you feel when you walk into the room onto the screen. I built the whole thing end to end — design included.

A burgundy palette, an elegant serif display family, the motto la tavola è pronta and hand-drawn vine-and-grape linework build an identity that respects labour and timeless flavour over flash. An arched hero frames the room’s stained-glass dome like a vignette.

The site is run from a single panel in three languages (TR / EN / IT), with Story, Menu, Wine, Hall, Gallery, Events, Journal and Pasticceria sections, and a reservation flow reachable from every page (“Book a table” / “Reserve”). The structure is split by occasion, from business lunches to private celebrations.

Vine branches drawn as you scroll, headings that surface slowly, and a sense of depth inside the arched image. The motion mimics the room’s calm rhythm — not to distract, but to slow you down, the way sitting at a table does.

The site opens at Fişekhane within a few days; it is currently in maintenance mode while the final touches are applied.
